WHEN CAN I BEGIN SLEEP TRAINING MY CHILD?

4-months and older is appropriate. This way, we can ensure that baby has gone through the "4-month progression" and is now cycling in and out of REM, deep and light sleep like adults.

I'VE READ A FEW SLEEP BOOKS. DO I KNOW AS MUCH AS YOU?

There is SO much information out there. I have been certified with The Family Sleep Institute and as part of my training, I am well versed in the different methods, as well as different parenting styles in conjunction with the science and research that has been done. I will choose a method that works for your unique situation.

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK WITH YOU?

I encourage you to go to browse my website, Facebook page and Instagram page to learn more about me and the services I offer. Once we become acquainted with a 15-minute call, I will send you an invoice and contract to review. From there, I will send you an intake form that let's me understand everything there is to know about your child. The more descriptive you are, the better! With that information, I develop a sleep plan specific to your child that we will discuss together in detail. Typically, parents start with my plan 2-3 days after receiving it.

WHICH PACKAGE IS RIGHT FOR MY FAMILY?

My 2-week support plan is the best option for most. Why? Most families need my support longer than a week. This ensures we have time to troubleshoot and work out any lasting concerns. I will be available to you via text, phone, email for two weeks! What's better than that?!

I'VE HEARD THAT CRYING CAN CAUSE LONG-TERM SIDE EFFECTS. IS THAT TRUE?

Cry it out is a very sensationalized that has a negative connotation. I am here to educate on what that really means and the research behind it. Research shows there is no short-term or long-term negative effects from behavioral sleep modification.

CAN I TEACH MY CHILD TO SELF-SOOTHE IF I AM BREASTFEEDING?

Yes! They are not mutually exclusive. A breastfed baby can self-soothe and sleep long stretches the same as a formula fed baby. Breastfed babies can benefit greatly by having the Father involved, as well.

WHEN WILL WE SEE RESULTS?

If the plan is followed and you are consistent, you can see results as soon as 2-3 days.

DO YOU OFFER A GUARANTEE?

There are no guarantees as I am not implementing the plan for you- You are the one who carries out the changes that we discuss, and I coach you and educate you through the entire process. Being 100% committed to the process will ensure we see accomplish the goals we outlined together. If we are not seeing the results we want, there may be an underlying issue or situation that was not discussed. You being an open book will ensure your success!
